In July 2005 we left the Netherlands for a beautiful adventure. We involved an old building in the municipality of Maissana. After many large and small renovations Bed and Breakfast Fraseneggi was born: 5 apartments with swimming pool in a unique environment.

In addition to the Bed and Breakfast we developed a mini camp a bit further. The camp site also became a success: small, surrounded by nature and atmospheric. In 2012 Dajo (son of the house) went to the Lyceum of Sestri Levante. The many trips back and forth and the attraction of the coast created a new search, a building by the sea. In 2015 we found this, in Chiavari. The building is beautiful and so a new adventure was born. We have already leased Fraseneggi to Bert and Helmut. The love and attention they have for Fraseneggi will ensure that they have a bright future there and that guests will enjoy it with great pleasure. The campsite stayed with us, after all it was "the dream" of Dmitri (man of the house). At the new location we have a new task, an olive grove of 4 hectares on different ridges. This has not been maintained for a long time and needs to be restored to produce organic oil. Saskia (wife of the house) is now completely at home in Italian bureaucracy, customs and daily life. Not unimportant because Italy is beautiful, but also incomprehensible.

We experienced everything you can experience when emigrating to Italy. Meanwhile, we feel very at home between the very friendly Italians, we know the environment well and enjoy our work. Every season we look forward to receiving familiar, but also new guests, having a good meal together or just drinking an aperitivo. Out of season we work on the olive grove, the maintenance of the old building and the campsite. Despite the good life here we remain Dutch, hence our name: Agriturismo the "orange olive"
